Pind Daanis the Hindu belief that after the death, soul of human being still remain in this materialistic world. Just because of the loss of body (due to death) someone cannot detach himself / herself from this world. The pull of Love, kindness, affection for his / her family, friends, relatives etc. and the affinity for the materialistic world prevent him to go for the extreme and ultimate departure. As a result, being a bodiless state that man (without body) gets pain. He wants to do many things but cannot. They cannot or even do not want to make themselves free from this materialistic world. 'PINDA DAAN' according to Hindu Belief Gives them an ultimate relief and paves the way for their departure to the ultimate world of Peace. Pind Daan is considered to be a mandatory rite believed to bring salvation to the departed souls. An obligation of all Devout Hindus.

Itinerary

  1. Day 01

    - New Delhi

    By Flight

    Upon arrival, you will be met and greeted by our company representative, who will then transfer you to the hotel. “Delhi is a city of where the past coexists the present. Many dynasties ruled from here and this city is rich in his architecture of its monuments, diverse of cultural elements, daily life”. Overnight at Hotel.

  2. Day 02

    New Delhi - Haridwar

    260 kms / 06 hrs

    Moring after breakfast drive to  Haridwar. Check in at Hotel. Evening Aarti Ceremony on Hari Ki Pauri (meaning "at the feet of Lord Shiva") is the spot where devotees offer prayers on the steps leading down to the river. Every evening the Ganga Aarti is performed at all temples in Haridwar at the same time - which culminates in a moving spectacle of thousands of lamps set afloat in the Ganga by the multitude of worshippers.  Overnight at Hotel.
    Haridwar: - Situated at the foot hills of the Himalayas, the city is a doorway to the land of holy shrines and pilgrimages, prayer and devotion. Haridwar in Hindi literally means "Gateway to the Lord". The city also represents the point where the sacred river Ganga enters the plains. Haridwar is the site of the Maha Kumbh Mela, held every 12 years, which is the biggest congregation in the world.

  3. Day 03

    Haridwar

    Rishikesh Excursion Tour

    Early morning Yoga & Meditation Classes. After breakfast visit Rishikesh visit Ram Jhula, Laxman  Jhula, Parmarth Ashram , Evening explore the Spa and experience the rejuvenation therapies. Meditation . Towards a Stress Free Life. Meditation means awareness. Whatever you do with awareness is meditation. "Watching your breath" is meditation; listening to the birds is meditation. As long as these activities are free from any other distraction to the mind, it is effective meditation. Overnight at Hotel.

  4. Day 04

    Haridwar - Varanasi

    Delhi ( By Flight)

    Morning after breakfast take drive to Delhi, after take flight for Varanasi, upon arrival check in at Hotel. Overnight at Varanasi.
    Varanasi: - Hindus holiest city and one of the oldest living cities in the world. Varanasi was already old when Rome was founded, a flourishing trade centre when the Buddha came to Sarnath to preach his first sermon. It was a city of great wealth and religious important when the Chinese travelers Hiuen Tsang visited in the 7th century. Dinner & Overnight at Varanasi.

  5. Day 05

    Varanasi

    Pind Daan Pooja & City Tour

    Early morning light breakfast at Hotel drive to Hanuman Ghat for Pooja / Pind Daan this pooja time will take 2-3 hrs, after. Visit Vishalakshi Temple, Kashi Vishwnath Temple one of 12 jyotrilinga, later visit Kalbhirav Temple. After drive to Sarnath, Evening Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges to see the cremation Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the world's oldest and most important religions. (To start at 0500 hrs. for the best lifetime experience) For you to appreciate this remarkable city, we'll transfer you to the banks of the River Ganges before the sun rises. Board a boat with your guide and proceed to the middle of the river, where at sunrise the sight unfolds before you. Thousands of faithful come daily to the banks to bath and pray while in the background, temples and palaces rise in tiers from the water's edge. Aarti Ceremony at Ganga River. Dinner & Overnight at Varanasi.

  6. Day 06

    Varanasi - Bodhgaya

    300 kms / 06 hrs

    After Breakfast visit Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, Durga Mata Temple, after transfer to Bodhgaya Check in Hotel have Lunch, alter do rest for 01, Visit Lord Buddha Temple (Maha Bodhi temple), Bodhi Tree, Buddha Statue. Covers other sightseeing places Sita Kund, Janki temple, Haleshwar Asthan, Ram chura (Vaisahali). Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel in bodhgaya.
    Summary : -
    Sankat Mochan, Durga Mata Temple.
    Sita Kund, Janki temple, Haleshwar Asthan, Ram chura (Vaisahali).
    Visit Lord Buddha Temple River , Bodhi Tree, Buddha Statue.

  7. Day 07

    Bodhgaya - Varanasi

    Gaya (300 kms / 06 hrs)

    Morning after breakfast we will go for Pind Daan rituals. It takes around 2-3 hrs to perform entire pooja activity. Everything will be arranged by us (Purohit + Pooja items). After visit Vishnu Temple, later back to hotel for Lunch. After drive to Varanasi, upon arrival check in hotel dinner & overnight.

  8. Day 08

    Varanasi

    Allahabad (150 kms / 03 hrs)

    After early breakfast, we drive to Allahabad. Enjoy the holy bath in river Ganga and in Sangam (Meeting point) of the three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati. Sangam - overlooked by the eastern ramparts of the fort, wide flood plains and muddy banks protrude towards the sacred Sangam. At the point at which the brown Ganges meets the Greenish Yamuna, pandas (priests) perch on small platforms to perform puja and assist the devout in their ritual ablutions in the shallow waters.
    Latter we will go for Pind daan rituals. It takes around 2-3 hrs to perform entire activity. Everything will be arranged by us (Purohit + Pooja items) (optional).After lunch we will cover the other spot in Allahabad like Hanuman Temple, Anand Bhavan- one of the country’s best-running museums in memory of Jawahar Lal Nehru. Swaraj Bhawan -the house where the former Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi was born. In evening drive back to Varanasi. Night stay at Hotel in Varanasi.

  9. Day 09

    Varanasi - Agra

    By Flight (Delhi)

    Morning after breakfast transfer to Varanasi Airport to connect flight to Delhi. Upon arrival direct drive to Agra En route visit Vrindavan (If Time Permit), after drive to Agra Check in dinner, Overnight at Hotel.

  10. Day 10

    Agra - New Delhi

    Local City Tour

    Morning after breakfast visit Taj Mahal of India - "the epitome of love", "a monument of immeasurable beauty". Standing majestically on the banks of River Yamuna, Taj Mahal is synonymous with love and romance. It is believed that the name "Taj Mahal" was derived from the name of Shah Jahan wife Mumtaz Mahal and means "Crown Palace". The purity of the white marble, the exquisite ornamentation, precious gemstones used and its picturesque location, all make Taj Mahal travel gain a place amongst the most popular ones. However, unless and until, one knows the love story behind the Tajmahal of India, it will come up as just a beautiful building.
