This erstwhile fortified city was once a capital for the Mughal empire and even today houses some of the most remarkable monuments dating back to the Mughal era.     Agra - Bhopal

    Early morning, head towards the Agra railway station to catch the direct daily Shatabdi train to Bhopal. It will take you almost 6 hours to reach Bhopal from Agra, and therefore you will be left with little time to explore the charisma of the city, the very day you land here.     Bhopal - Bhopal

    Bhopal - Indore

Spend the 2nd half of the day exploring the attractions of Indore including the Old Palace, the Lal Bagh Palace, the Indore Museum, and the Kanch Mandir.

    Indore - Indore

    Indore offers itself as an interesting base for guests traveling to Ujjain, located just about 60 km from here. One of the holiest cities for the Hindus, Ujjain is most visited by devotees for 2 reasons – the Jyotirlinga housed in the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple and the Kumbha Mela that is celebrated once in twelve years. Post your sightseeing of this place, you will travel back to Indore for the overnight stay.

  10. Day 10

    Indore - Mandu

    City Tour

    From Indore, drive down to Mandu, the next destination in the Golden triangle with central India tour. The distance between Indore and Mandu is about 97 km and therefore the traveling will take almost 2 – 3 hours. Mandu is also known as Mandavgarh and is a fortified city, the ruins of which still echo the sounds of Baz Bahadur and his companion Rani Roopmati.

  11. Day 11

    Mandu - Aurangabad

    Departure

    On the eleventh day, leave Mandu for Aurangabad. The distance between these 2 cities is about 335 km and therefore it will take you about 6 – 7 hours to reach the latter. This will leave you with very little time to explore the city attractions, therefore on arrival in the city, check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day in leisure.
