Itinerary

  1. Day 01

    - Kathmandu

    Arrival

    Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. Meet and traditional welcome by our Go India Holiday representative & get transferred to hotel. Welcome drink followed by tour briefing. Evening is free to explore as own. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

  2. Day 02

    Kathmandu

    Full Day Local City Tour

    Morning breakfast start the sightseeing tour in few  major places in Kathmandu - Swoyambhunath,  Boudhanath,  Pashupatinath, and Kathmandu durbar square -  Swoyambhunath  nearly 2500-year old site believed that the Radiant Lotus of the valley settled when the water was drained by Manjushree, the god of Wisdom - (Non-Hindus are not allowed inside Swayambhunath temple) -  Boudhanath the world’s  largest stupa of Tibetan Buddhist Culture -  Visit of Pashupati Nath - the holiest shrines for Hindus - It is the holiest Temple for Hindus dedicated to lord Shiva, is also a site for Hindu cremation - Afternoon visit to Kathmandu durbar square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev and Parvati Temple, Machhender Bahl - Holy place for the Buddhists and Hindus, Temple House of Kumari, the vestal virgin or the living goddess – Bhaktapur City - The UNESCO World Heritage Site, An ancient town and the medieval city of devotees -Evening free to stroll  around the local bazaars - Night stay at hotel / resort in Kathmandu.

  3. Day 03

    Kathmandu

    En-route Bhaktapur Durbar

    Morning after breakfast catch the view of Himalayas including Mt Everest- the highest peak in the world at sunrise from your room . Breakfast and drive to Kathmandu en-route Bhaktapur Durbar sightseeing. Then after, transfer to Kathmandu hotel. Check into hotel. Free time to explore the market for personal activities like shopping etc as own. Overnight at Kathmandu.

  4. Day 04

    Kathmandu - Gorkha

    Morning after breakfast & scenic drive for Gorkha( KM /5 hours ) observing the greenery hills on the national highway along with Trishuli River. On the way, visit the Manakamna Temple. . Manokamana is believed to be a temple of goddess who fulfills the wishes where you are taken by a cable ride of 8 mins. Get back to highway and continuous drive to Gorkha.Arrive Gorkha. Gorkha is located 125 kms far from Kathmandu.  It is the original Kingdom of Shah Dynasty and also birth place of king Prithiv Narayan Shah who is the founder modern  Nepal. Gorkha palace(royal palace) is the main attraction  which lies on the small hillocks from where one can view the beautiful Himalayas like the Annapurna and Ganesh Himal.  Gorkha is also important for cultural, architectural and historical point of view as well as two hindus temple dedicated to Gorkhnath and kali Goddes and overnight.

  5. Day 05

    Gorkha - Pokhara

    By Surface (115 kms/ 4 -5hrs)

    Breakfast & proceed to Gorkha sightseeing covering gorkha royal alace, Gorakhnath baba Temple and Kali Temple.  Then drive (115 kms/ 4 -5hrs)  to Pokhara. Arrive Pokhara(Lake City), check into the hotel and overnight.

  6. Day 06

    Pokhara

    Full Day Local City Tour

    After breakftas sightseeing will be as per the Itinerary and all the places in one day is not possible hence few of the sites are taken into the Itinerary - The sightseeing places are Old bazaar of Pokhara city, Bindhayabasini temple, Seti George, Buddhist monastery, Pokhara regional museum, Devis Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Tibetan refugee camp, Barahi temple, Sarankot, Peace stupa and boating at Fewa Lake Tal barahi temple is an attraction, located in the middle of Fewa Lake - It takes less than 10 minute to reach there by boat - Tranquil atmosphere and the green forest just beyond the south end of the lake is a beauty - A major celebration during dashain festivals can be enjoyed here - Many Hindu and Buddhist temple are places of visit - Other places of interest are lakes, museum, cave, seti gorge, temple etc  - Evening free to stroll around the area – Night stay at Pokhara.    

  7. Day 07

    Pokhara - Lumbini

    By Surface -06 Hrs

    Breakfast and drive to Lumbini. Finally, arrive Lumbini after 6 hours drive. Check into hotel. Proceed for Lumbini sightseeing of Lumbini Garden, Maya Devi temple, Ashoka pillar and various monasteries belonging to different countries. Overnight at Lumbini.

  8. Day 08

    Lumbini - Chitwan

    By Surface - 04 Hrs Drive

    Breakfast and drive to Chitwan national park. On arrival check into the Resort / jungle lodge followed by welcome drink and briefing about the jungle activities. Get refresh  and lunch will be at hotel. In the evening, enjoy Native folk tharu dances of the Terais. Dinner and overnight will be at jungle lodge /resort.

  9. Day 09

    Chitwan

    Full Day Local City Tour

    Breakfast & proceed for jungle safari on Elephant back where you can get chance to experience an amazing wildlife. If you are lucky enough then can see different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, leopard, monkeys, birds including endangered species. After elephant back safari tour proceed for canoeing in Rapti River or Bhudi Rapti where one can see two types of crocodiles, the Gharial and Mugger basking on the river bank. Visit elephant breeding farm & Also experience walking through the typical Tharu Village in the late afternoon. Back to the lodge/resort. Dinner & overnight at the jungle resort / lodge.

  10. Day 10

    Chitwan - Kathmandu

    By Surface

    After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu & check into the hotel. Rest of the day free for personal activities as shopping visiting around the tourist hub of Kathmandu- Thamel etc.  In the evening, farewell dinner with cultural program at Nepali restaurant. Overnight stay at hotel.

  11. Day 11

    Kathmandu

    Full Day Free for Leisure

    Breakfast, the whole day at leisure at you own activities like shopping and explore around the Kathmandu city as own.  In the evening, farewell dinner with tpical Nepali cultural program at Nepali restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

  12. Day 12

    Kathmandu

    Departure

    Breakfast & check out from hotel & transfer to the airport for flight to your onward destination with sweet memories of Nepal.
